Echo Lab Certification Requirements
Starting March 1, 2008 a number of insurance carriers will require
freestanding physician offices and imaging facilities that perform
echocardiograms attain lab accreditation for conditions of reimbursement.
According to ICAEL code 5.1.1 your equipment needs to have record
of being regularly serviced and maintained in accordance to the
manufacture specifications. Ask a Davis Medical representative how
